The Guvnor Finds Sanctuary
Richard writes - I’m on the beautiful island of Bali. Its daylight, the sun is still shining, I’m sitting in the front passenger seat of a 4x4 being driven at speed and I have a heavy coat over my head obscuring my vision completely and it’s stifling. I’m being forced to do this, it’s not to shield me from the sun, nor am I being kidnapped: I’m being taken voluntarily to an unknown destination that must be kept secret.
Welcome to The Three Stags!
The Three Stags is an authentic London pub that delivers more than you expect.
A stone's throw from Waterloo mainline station, and close to many other transport links, we pride ourselves on serving top quality food made from the freshest ingredients which are carefully sourced every day from responsible producers (see the FOOD page for more information).
Our ever-changing menu is accompanied by an exciting list of wines from around the world and well kept traditional beers and lagers.
There's lots of history in the area - the Imperial War Museum is directly opposite The Three Stags - and we have a host of historical posters and photographs around the building. And film buffs should make a stop at Chaplin’s Corner, where Charlie Chaplin’s father was known to sit for hours, pint in hand!
